Choose what fits your work behind the chair. We'll handle the different math.
If your salon deducts product costs, enter the amount on each service. Some salons deduct before splitting; others deduct from your share afterward.
For independent stylists, your main forecast shows gross service sales before product costs, card fees, rent, or other business expenses. Rent and other expenses are optional; blank entries count as $0 in the after-expenses view.
Use the earnings figure you want to reach.
What counts as other business expenses?
Optional: card fees & double-booking
If Yes, we estimate which of your services could fit completely within a processing window, allowing a 10-minute handoff. Frequency and booking percentage influence the opportunity; overlap is not guaranteed.

Also see estimated earnings after expenses
These figures deduct service product costs, any card-processing fees, annual chair rent and other annual business expenses entered above. They are estimates before personal taxes, not your gross sales.
Suggested prices, annual service sales, and earnings after expenses are estimates based on your entries and the calculator’s assumptions—not exact results or guarantees of income. Any earnings-after-expenses figures are before personal taxes. Actual results vary with demand, bookings, service mix, and expenses.
How are these numbers calculated?
We don't know exactly which services you'll book. Service frequency selections weight standalone appointments; add-on frequency estimates extra sales without increasing appointment count. Add-ons contribute estimated sales without creating separate appointments.
Look Further Ahead · Three-year outlook
Explore a scenario—not a prediction. Your prices grow each year by the amount you choose, with the same estimated appointment mix and work schedule.
The main independent-stylist projection shows gross service sales; rent and other expenses only affect the optional after-expenses view. Commission stylists are shown earnings after modeled deductions.
